Development Update provides the latest planning and development news

The latest Development Update has been published by Ashford Borough Council providing updates on the latest position of planning documents and major planning applications that have been received and/or permitted in the last 12 months.

In the latest edition there is an update on the Local Plan 2030 and neighbourhood plans in Bethersden and Rolvenden as well as major planning applications in the town centre including on the former Powergen site on Victoria Road, Trafalgar House on Bank Street, The Panorama (formerly Charter House), and Brundrett House on Tannery Lane.

Other applications include land south of Park Farm in Kingsnorth, Eureka Leisure Park, land to the rear of William Harvey Hospital, the former South Kent college site on Jemmett Road, Waterbrook Park in Sevington and various phases at Finberry, Repton Park and Chilmington Green.

Updates on rural developments in the Charing, Shadoxhurst, Smeeth and Hamstreet area are also included as well as details of the successful planning appeal outcomes in Brabourne Lees, Charing and Biddenden against Gladman Developments.
