After the successful launch of its first Kent location in Maidstone in December 2019, the BizSpace team are excited to launch the upcoming BizSpace Ashford at Eureka Business Park. The Cobalt Building is a purpose-built business centre whose customers will benefit from free parking, high-speed Internet, 24-hour access and an abundance of natural light in all spaces. Once complete, there will be 73 offices ranging from 170 – 424 sq ft, which combined can accommodate up to 250 employees.

Matt Jones, Acquisitions and Development Manager at BizSpace, outlines what the new site in Ashford will offer: “The brand new Cobalt Building is designed from scratch with flexible working in mind, comprising breakout and kitchen areas, free parking, bike racks, shower facilities and superfast broadband all in an attractive setting with some great views of the countryside. Our on-site manager will be on hand to ensure everything is taken care of – from when businesses are moving in to when they are in full swing.”
When choosing where to open new BizSpace sites, location is key. Matt explains why Ashford was the logical next step: “With a great local economy, we are confident that demand for office space is there in Ashford. It has a young and growing population, good amenities and excellent road and rail connectivity, which we can make the most of being located just off Junction 9 of the M20 at Eureka Business Park. Ashford ticks all the boxes and we are excited about it as a business location: both for BizSpace and our customers alike.
“A combination of good connectivity while being close to the countryside and in reach of the sea makes Ashford a great place to live, which is reflected in the a number of new residential developments in the town. Ashford Designer Outlet and a strong town centre, in comparison to the rest of the UK at present, is really positive too.”
Matt continues to praise the support BizSpace has received locally: “It’s great to have a council that is proactive and keen to see change. Throughout the planning stage and since, we have found the team at Ashford Borough Council to be helpful and supportive. The Economic Development officers have helped get things off the ground, funnelled leads and connected us with Locate in Kent, so that has been great.”
BizSpace Ashford is an exciting new addition to the borough and with construction underway it is set to start welcoming business in February 2021.
