Who is developing Newtown Works?

In July 2019, Quinn Estates signed a deal with The Creative District Improvement Co. (TCDICo) to develop and construct a new UK hub for TV and film, to be operated by TCDICo, located at the heart of Ashford.

Jeremy Rainbird from The Creative District Improvement Co., which specialises in the development and operation of mixed-use schemes for the creative industries, said: “The boom in content, that the whole world is seeing, is going to come to Ashford, generating far in excess of 1,000 indirect and direct jobs, and creating a halo effect on the local economy.

What are the next steps for this development?

The planning application was submitted at the end of 2019 and is currently following the standard planning application process.
