Jamaica Blue Set For Ashford Opening

Posted on 1 September 2026

Jamaica Blue will open its new Ashford café on Thursday 17 September, bringing fresh investment, employment opportunities and another recognised food and drink brand to the heart of the town centre.

Located in County Square Shopping Centre, the café represents a £300,000 investment in Ashford and will create 15 local jobs, with recruitment currently under way through Indeed. The opening adds to the town centre’s offer and has the potential to encourage greater footfall for neighbouring shops, services and hospitality businesses.

Founded in Australia more than 30 years ago, Jamaica Blue is named after the world-renowned Blue Mountains of Jamaica, where its premium coffee beans are grown. The Ashford café will combine the brand’s speciality coffee with a made-to-order menu featuring brunch dishes, gourmet sandwiches, lunch plates, handcrafted cakes and sweet treats.

We’re delighted to confirm that Jamaica Blue will open in Ashford next month. This is an exciting new location for the brand, and we look forward to welcoming customers through the doors to enjoy our speciality coffee, fresh brunch, lunch and sweet dishes, and relaxed café atmosphere, while also creating valuable new employment opportunities in the area.

The opening is a positive vote of confidence in Ashford as a retail and leisure destination. By investing in a prominent town-centre location, Jamaica Blue will help broaden the local café offer, create reasons for people to spend more time in the area and support the continuing vitality of the town centre.
