Stanhope

Gary Bourne believes that Ashford is the town with the potential for things to happen. As the company director for Stanhope, their £75million vision for Elwick Place is testament to this.

Elwick Place was historically a cattle market central to Ashford’s economy in years gone past. Now the brownfield site is having a new lease of life with a scheme that will provide a boutique Picturehouse cinema, hotel, restaurants and events space nearing completion. A second phase of development will provide hundreds of homes on an adjacent part of the site.

“The message we hear is that people in Ashford want to see this happen, and we are absolutely committed to meeting - and exceeding - the justifiably high aspirations of the local community to deliver a truly outstanding development.”

Gary Bourne, Director, Stanhope

The team at Stanhope have an excellent track record in delivery, with Elwick Place the latest in a series of high profile schemes that include the iconic BBC Television Centre in White City, London. High profile schemes that demand attention, that set the bar in terms of quality and delivers the kind of facilities that residents will love.

Gary is passionate that Elwick Place will revolutionise Ashford’s leisure offer, and strengthen the area’s night-time economy. It’s what the town centre has been crying out for. Watch this space.
