“The future of Ashford is bright. There are lots of opportunities for people coming to the town for both business and pleasure..”

Sam and Adam Ready, CEO's of Sideways Media

Based in the thriving, creative co-working and events space Coachworks, the Sideways Media team have championed all things local since joining as the first tenants in 2019.

Adam explains why the company chose to move to Ashford: “Ashford was the founding town of Sideways Media and has been a hub for us for a number of years, so when seeking a permanent office for our HQ the town centre was a logical choice. It has fantastic commuter links to the rest of Kent, which is great for distributing the magazine, and the high-speed train means we can be in London in less than 40 minutes. We immediately recognised the potential and pioneering opportunity offered by Coachworks having worked in similar creative co-work spaces in London and seen first-hand other concepts in Kent. As a growing creative business it was a great time to join with other like-minded companies to enhance the growing creative community in Ashford.”

Sideways Media has been going from strength to strength, gaining new clients and winning various awards in the last few years including ‘Best Family Businesses at the 2022 and 2023 Business Awards Kent, and Sam winning ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ at the 2023 Kent Women in Business Awards!

It’s safe to say that Adam and Sam’s hard-work, drive and passion for all things creative is paying off and they are incredibly proud of their team. To anyone who is interested in exploring Ashford as a home for their business, the couple add; “Ashford is definitely being put on the map as a place to live, work and play as well as being a commuter hub.”
